Information In 1994 we bought the Pearl Janssen 890 and the Raketje Janssen 625 on an auction of pure Janssen Brothers pigeons. 
The cock Pearl Janssen 890 was the most beautiful bird on the auction, with a perfect body and fantastic wings, eye-signs and trembling muscles. In his pedigree we found the best proven old bloodlines of the Janssen Brothers: Jonge Merckx, Oude Merckx, Grote van de Stier, Grote Stier, Klein Goed Blauw, Oude Scherpe, Goei Duifke van '72, Raket van '76, 019 and Oude Raket.J
The hen Raketje Janssen 625 was also a great Janssen-bird. She was a pure Raket inbred bird, with the Oude Raket and the Raket van '76 repeatedly in her pedigree. But also the Jonge Merckx was one of her ancestors.

He's also a handsome guy, and he became Winner of the Show. In 2001 Dark Pearl 051 was paired with another hen, Beauty Queen 992, and they bred two 1st prizewinners as a yearling in 2002.

A grandson of Dark Pearl 051, Pearl Prince 968, won the 1st prize Creil in the strong combine Brabant 2000 against 6,351 birds in 2002. His sire is Young Pearl 555, his dame is Golden Princess 889, and she's daughter of Golddigger 644 (brother Golden Boy 318) and a sister of Hattrick 355.
